Job title: Gardener/Handyman (temporary contract to end August 2021)
About then role: The right applicant will have a proactive attitude while completing operations that will include grass cutting, shrub pruning, hedge maintenance, flowerbed, and floral display maintenance and other grounds maintenance duties on varied sites including cemeteries, highways, commons and other Sheringham Town Council assets.
About the person: Demonstrating that you are an innovative, supportive, positive and flexible person, you will need to have the quality to work well within a small team carrying out routine gardening and grounds maintenance operations for Sheringham Town Council. Previous experience in the use of hand mowers, brushcutters/strimmers and other general gardening and grounds maintenance equipment as well as knowledge of health and safety principles would be advantageous.

A full driving license is preferred but not an essential requirement for this role.

Employment Type: Temporary, Hourly rate in line with national minimum wage.
