Last year over 200 people attended the Town Meeting and shared their views and ideas. All of this information along with the 2018 Community Engagement Project has resulted in the development of a vision for Sheringham and the Town Plan. The Town meeting on the 14th May at 7pm-shortly after the elections is therefore a chance to come along and see how your views and ideas have been taken into account in formulating a plan for Sheringham.

It will also be a chance to meet your new Council team and find out about your councillors and who will be representing you for the next 4 years.

Another first for Sheringham Town Meeting will be the opportunity for our community groups and organisations to come and have a stall and represent your groups. Not only will this be a good opportunity to promote your groups within the town but also to recruit volunteers and new members. Please contact the Admin team on marking your subject Town Meeting Community Stall. if you want to be involved.

This year we will also be presenting the re-structured Community awards. The categories include youth adults and organisations and unsung heroes. It is a special opportunity for the Mayor who feels great pleasure and it to be an honour to acknowledge some of the wonderful people in our community.

Sheringham Town Council values greatly the opportunity to engage with the community we represent and very much hopes that as many people come this year to hear about the exciting plans for our town and community for the future.

We look forward to seeing you there!
