SUPPORT IN SHERINGHAM
In these challenging times, and with so many wonderful organistions set up, we understand it can be difficult to get all the information that is out there without going through several websites and organisations. As such, we wanted to help provide a simple list of services which may be of use to residents and businesses within our community.

If you are in need of food essentials and do not have the means (access to cash is an issue) to pay for or cannot access food, contact:

Sheringham Community Support is under the umbrella of Sheringham Town Council and forms part of the Town Council COVID -19 Response, with an army of over 150+ registered friendly street volunteers: supporting our community, aiding with shopping, prescriptions, dog walking, mail collection and other general tasks.
Sheringham Community Support are proud to be able to aid residents further through a prescription collection scheme for all exempt and pre-paid prescriptions; having one dedicated individual per day collect prescriptions rather than several, reduces numbers waiting queuing, and number of individuals outside. Our street volunteers can collect and deliver those prescriptions requiring payment. This reduces risk to both pharmacy staff and volunteers.
A befriending service as also available, with trained counsellors forming part of the team. Trained support is available to volunteers as well.
