Governance General Policies

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Town Council must have a publication scheme. This includes all the information that the council is expected to routinely and proactively make available to the public, at minimum cost and inconvenience. Sheringham Town Council are currently reviewing this scheme and it will be uploaded on completion

General polices are written protocols and procedures for delivering the council’s services and responsibilities. They determine the reasons and processes that the council will adopt to complete its business.
