Sheringham Carnival finished on Sunday night with the fireworks after Mayor Madeleine Ashcroft described the display as an amazing end to an exciting and fabulous week.

The week of Carnival fun and games brought many people to the town with an excellent mix of the old traditional favourites and new activities as well. With fun and games ranging from street races and a mass water fight, beach activities to art and music activities , sport, putting and duck racing,  there was something for everyone.

The highlight was the Carnival parade on Wednesday. Seen here are 4 of the Sheringham Town Councillors who took part in the parade with their families. Mayor Madeleine Ashcroft got to be at the front in a Bentley which was led by the friends and family of Ben who the town has been raising funds for.

On the whole the new route as a result of the sinkhole has received positive comments and there was certainly a Carnival atmosphere in the town.

Mayor, Madeleine Ashcroft on behalf of the Town Council expressed on many occasions how much the extremely hard work by the Committee members of the Carnival Association and their volunteers which results in a fantastic week during carnival and throughout the year with all the other events is appreciated by both the Town Council and the Town.
